The Race Team
Gaylen "TBH" Smith (Len)
Gaylen has been racing for 30+ years and has been on the pro mod circuit for 14 years now. Gaylen is the owner/driver of "Hell Fish" our 1970 Cuda Pro-Mod. He also is the co-owner and operator of Lenmar Motorsports, Inc. Gaylen grew up at race tracks all around the DFW area following in his dad's footsteps but his passion led him down the Pro Mod path. He started out running a 555 c.i. nitrous power plant but decided after 2 years that he needed to step up if he was going to be competitive so he purchased a 1994 Blown Alcohol Camaro which led him to two TOPMA championships in 2003/2004. After partnering up with Mark, they bought a '41 Willys that they ran for one season and this year purchased a Jeffer's Pro Car's 1970 Cuda powered by a blown alcohol HEMI. On order is a Tim McAmis 57' Chevy "Hellaire".

Celeste Smith - Racing Coordinator
Celeste Smith is Gaylen’s lovely wife of 21 years and she is always at Gaylen’s side no matter what he is driving. She coordinates the racing operation for the whole crew along with turning a few wrenches. She also packs the chutes on anything Gaylen drives.
Brandon Pesz - Crew Chief
In 2009, LenMar Motorsports hired 2nd generation racer Brandon Pesz as the Crew Chief for Gaylen Smith/Texas Bounty Hunter. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team such as tuning Steve Engle to be one of the first 16 door car teams in the 5-second club with a 5.97 at 241 mph. He has won on the IHRA/NHRA/ADRL and TOPMA circuits. In 2009, he added tuning the first TOPMA car to 200 mph in the 1/8 mile to his resume when Gaylen clocked a 3.908 at 200.8 mph earlier this season.
Charlie Wooten - Car Chief
Charlie has been racing for 27 years. He spent many of those years behind the wheel but over the last few years he’s worn the crew chief hat. In 2008, LenMar Motorsports hired Charlie as the Car Chief on Gaylen Smith’s Texas Bounty Hunter ’70 Cuda. He has a chassis fabrication background and his passion is racing so it’s a win/win situation for both Charlie and LenMar.
Hell Fish
Hell Fish is our 1970 Cuda featuring a 526ci Chrysler Hemi and a PSI Screw Blower. Watch out Nemo!
Mark Eddins (Mar)
Mark Eddins has been a hotrod guy his whole life. After meeting Gaylen in 2006 they started LenMar Motorsports and brought a full blown race shop to the Mansfield/Kennedale area.
Mark has recently purchased a dragster and wants to get into the swing of things and give the drag racing thing a try so look for him tearing up the strip at the Kennedale track very soon!

David "BeetleJuice" Reeves - Clutch Specialist
David is one of only two founding crew members for Gaylen Smith (the other being his wife of 21 years). David is the clutch specialist and diver. David also works at LenMar Motorsports as one on the many mechanics on site.

David Bellomy - Computer/Detail Specialist
David started out being one of Gaylen’s biggest fans and then we recruited him to help out with the car. He’s a helping hand no matter what the task is.

The Crew
TBH Crew of the Year Left to Right: Beetle Juice (David Reeves), Brandon Pesz, Celeste Smith, Gaylen Smith, Mark Eddins, David Belomy, and Charlie Wooten.
